Welcome to the official website for the The Mission Viejo Cowboys. The Cowboys proudly serve the communities of Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Portola Hills, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Coto de Caza, Trabuco and Dove Canyon.
We are so proud of all our football and cheer teams! Our athletes, coaches and parents represent Mission Viejo with pride, leadership and sportsmanship throughout the season. Thank you!
To register to become a Cowboys' Football Player or Cheerleader please click on the Registration tab and follow instructions. Teams fill up fast. Don't delay! We place kids on teams on a first paid, first placed basis.
Registration Dates
Feb 07 2010 - Cowboys Admin
You may register for the Cowboys at any time using the online system by going to the Registration tab and following the directions. However if you prefer to register in-person or if you have questions that you would like to be answered in person we have scheduled the following date(s) to do so.
All athletes that register online will still need to go to an in-person registration/payment and weigh-in their child prior to placement on a team. Please register on-line prior to coming to weigh-in if possible.
DATES AND LOCATIONS
Saturday, February 13 from 9:00 am. - 11:00 a.m. at La Paz Intermediate School by the bins loated on the football field level

Practice begins on Monday, July 26, 2010. We are now accepting registration for all football and cheer teams. Please register online. You have the option to pay by credit card or mail in a check if you choose. Click on the Registration tab above and complete the player/cheerleader registration section. If paying by cash please do so in person. As always registration is honored on a first paid, first placed basis so if you choose to mail in payment please realize that your child's registration is not accepted until payment is received. The Cowboys have a "No Refunds" policy.
We also require that all football players attend one of the in person registration to have an official weigh-in prior to placement on a team. Please make sure to come to the first available. This is required for new and returning athletes.
Registration amounts are as follows:
Future League (Flag) - $175
Football (Tackle) - $345
Cheer (all ages) - $130 to the first 50 sign-ups by April 1; $180 for the next 50; $230 for the next 50; $270 for all others. - Please look to the Cheer Registration Information for deadlines.
If you played with the Cowboys in 2009 you will receive a discount on registration if you register no later than 2-28-2010 as shown below. If you are new or did not play in 2009 with the Cowboys and you choose the discounted registration amount when you register your child will not be placed on a team until the proper amount is paid.

Jr. Future League (Flag) - $135
Football (Tackle) - $300
Cheer - $130

Cheerleading Registration

Register to be a Cowboys Cheerleader and become a part of the winning tradition. You will cheer for games every Saturday as well as perform in Cheer Competitions.
This year we will be having a graduated registration fee to award those that register early. Here is the breakdown:
The first 50 cheerleaders - $130 - Expires 4-1-2010
After that date or the next 50 cheerleaders - $180 - Expires 6-1-10
After that date or the next 50 cheerleaders - $230 - Expires 7-24-2010
After 7-24-2010 the price will be $270.

2009 OCJAAF Scholarship Recipient

We would like to give very special Congratulations to Tommy Finley who is our 2009 recipient in Mission Viejo for the OCJAAF Annual Scholarship.
Tommy is a former 5 year player for the Mission Viejo Cowboys. He went on to Laguna Hills High School as a Scholar Athlete with a GPA of 4.23 and graduates this month. He played 4 years on the football team and was a 3 year varsity letterman. His senior year he was an outstanding linebacker on his 13-0 team which were the Southern Section CIF Champions. He was awarded All-League Honors as a linebacker. He also dedicated his personal time volunteering to various community services. He is going on to the University of California, Santa Barbara where he will further his education with a goal of majoring in Marine Biology. We are so proud of you Tommy! You are one of our brightest stars.
Tommy was also the recipient of the Bill Alford Scholarship awarded to the top OCJAAF Scholar Athlete. Great job!
Once a Cowboy always a Cowboys; may your Star continue to shine.
